FROM mobile homes to stately homes, Yaxley-based Secura-Cam has been protecting personal and priceless assets for almost 15 years.
No job is too big or small for the company whose list of more than 1,000 domestic and commercial customers range from haulage yards, churches and farms to well-known retailers, the rich and famous, and even a local pet cemetery.
The company - based at the Mere View Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Peterborough - turns over between £750,000 and £1 million a year.
Established in 1996 on a budget of just £1,600, Secura-Cam employs a team of nine and has recently invested in the training of a new apprentice.
Professional advice, installation and maintenance of a range of security products and systems works alongside managing director Richard Joyce’s ethos of customer care, communication and going that extra mile.
He said: “It is something that both myself and company co-director Mark Watson totally believe in. The company has built up a strong and trusted reputation over the years across Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Norfolk and parts of London.
“We listen to our customers and work closely with them to deliver an excellent service and ultimately install new, or maintain existing, security systems,” added Richard, whose client list has included rock stars and MPs.
“An escalation of crime in certain areas, including diesel theft from vehicles and leading from church roofs, has led to more and more people reviewing their security.
“We provide a one-stop-shop when it comes to CCTV, intruder alarms, cameras, fire alarm installation and access control. Given our understanding of the current economic climate, we are equally happy to take on the maintenance of existing security systems.”
An impressive portfolio of Secura-Cam clients includes National Trust, Cambridgeshire Constabulary, local authority schools and colleges, Biffa Waste Management Services, Anglia Regional Co-op and DHL.
Richard added: “Reputation and customer satisfaction is paramount to myself and everyone in the business and we thank all our customers who have been loyal over the years.
Our engineers and installers are in regular contact with customers and are fully briefed before arriving at a location.
We recognise that security is a very sensitive and personal issue.
We as a company respect this, particularly where there has been a breach of security, along with our reputation of being highly professional and providing up-to-the-minute technology.”
